Channeling my inner mortician Addams.October 2016 – 20 weeks in the KSA and I finally made it to the yacht club at Ras Tanura! et this gorgeous little guy and had an absolutely banging BBQ. Pure chill with a little late night swim.October 2016- 18 weeks in the KSA and today was a beach kind of day. Sun, sand BBQ and some awesome people.September 2016 – 16 weeks in the KSA and it was definitely time for a weekend in Dubai. I literally love this place! Such innovative art and design everywhere.September 2016 – 14 weeks in the KSA and I’m heading home with a suitcase only half full so that I can bring the rest of my life back with me! Living here as certainly been an adventure so far and I’m looking forward to it continuing.August 2016 – So many health benefits from this delishous white tea that I got from the Embillian tea plantation in Sri Lanka. #cholesterol #bloodpressure #healthybonesAugust 2016 – You’ve got to love an infinity pool with views of the rock that it nearly killed you to climb.August 2016 – After 10 weeks in KSA I am now in the lush greenery of Sri Lanka. So far I have attended a holy festival, driven and nearly crashed a tuk tuk, played tug of war wih an elephant for my handbag and climbed this giant Buddha. Certianly feeling chipperAugust 2016 – That view! Earl’s Regency Hotel. Loving Sri Lanka so far.July 2016 – Just out for a leisurely 10km stroll around the golf course at sunset. Stunning, a real desert oasis.July 2016 – 8 weeks in KSA and after a hardcore gym session (in the ladies only gym of course) its time to relax in my standard shady spot by the pool. Currently 39 degrees with 42% humidity, sticky is certainly an understatement.July 2016 – Living on a compound may sound small but this place is HUGE. My new brum is perfect to get me from A to B. Car accessory shopping was interesting…female driver in Saudi, SHOCK, HORROR!!!
July 2016 – Eid Mubarrak to all of my Muslim friends! Eid marks the end of Ramadan and here this is marked with a community celebration. I am loving these hand woven crafts at the Aramco festival! Possible alternative interior design ideas for the new apartment…July 2016 – 4 weeks now in KSA and life is pretty good. Today has been spent chilling by the pool followed by a picnic at the lagoon. I have met some amazing people and have some awesome plans for the rest of the year, definitely feeling content.June 2016 – 2 weeks now I have been in KSA, there have been ups and downs, smiles and frowns, laughter and tears but all in all I think I’m really going to like this place! Oh, and as you can see it’s surprisingly green here!June 2016 – Finally got the keys to my new Saudi home! Apartment is surprisingly bigger than I expected. The brown and orange 70s style furniture certainly leaves a lot to be desired though. A little outing to Ikea is definitely required. Stayed tuned for possible DIY disasters.
